BPMIGAS – Badan Pelaksana Kegiatan Usaha Hulu Minyak dan Gas Bumi or The Upstream Oil and Gas Executive Agency is an Indonesian-based institution formed by the Government of Republic of Indonesia and operated with the status of State Owned Legal Entity (Badan Hukum Milik Negara/BHMN). BPMIGAS was established under Law no. 22/2001 on Oil and Gas and Government Regulation no. 42/2002 on the Executive Agency for Upstream Oil and Gas. BPMIGAS based in Jakarta and its head office located in Gedung Wisma Mulia Jl. Gatot Subroto 42 Jakarta 12710. BPMIGAS supported by 4 representative offices located in Pekanbaru, Palembang, Balikpapan, and Surabaya.
